PRIVACY
Privacy, kept understandable.
This policy explains what information Kanso may receive when you use the site, why it may be used, and the choices available to you.

Collect less. Explain clearly. Use information only for a real purpose.
As the site grows, Kanso will aim to keep data collection proportionate to the experience being provided.
01
Information we may receive
Information you choose to provide
If you contact Kanso, join a future newsletter, or use another form, we may receive the information you submit, such as your name, email address, selected topic, and message.
Technical information
Hosting, security, and measurement tools may generate limited technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, referring page, pages viewed, approximate region, and timestamps. The exact information depends on the services enabled on the production site.
External and affiliate interactions
Kanso may link to external websites, including retailers. If measurement tools are enabled, Kanso may be able to see that an outbound link was used. Purchases and payment details on a retailer’s website are handled by that retailer, not by Kanso.
02
How information may be used
Information may be used only for purposes reasonably connected to operating and improving Kanso, including:
- responding to questions, corrections, or feedback;
- delivering emails you choose to receive;
- understanding which content is useful;
- maintaining site security and preventing misuse;
- measuring site or affiliate performance when measurement tools are enabled; and
- meeting legal or regulatory obligations where applicable.
Kanso does not need detailed personal profiles to teach better living, and the site should not collect more personal information than the experience reasonably requires.
04
Service providers & external sites
Kanso may rely on third parties for hosting, forms, email delivery, analytics, security, or other site functions. Those providers may process limited information on Kanso’s behalf according to their own terms and privacy practices.
Links may also take you to independent websites such as Amazon. Once you leave Kanso, the external site’s privacy policy and terms apply. Kanso does not control how those independent services handle information.
For more about product links, see the Affiliate Disclosure →
05
Retention & security
Kanso aims to retain personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, including legitimate recordkeeping, security, or legal needs.
No website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Kanso will aim to use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the tools and information being handled.
06
Your choices
Depending on the features enabled and the law that applies to you, you may be able to:
- unsubscribe from optional emails;
- adjust browser or cookie settings;
- ask what personal information Kanso holds about you;
- request correction or deletion of information; or
- raise a privacy question or concern.
Some requests may be limited where information must be retained for security, legal, or other legitimate reasons.
07
Children’s privacy
Kanso is designed for a general adult audience interested in home and lifestyle ideas. The site is not intended to collect personal information directly from children, and Kanso does not intentionally seek such information.
08
International visitors
Kanso may be visited from different countries, and service providers may operate in multiple regions. This means information may be processed in locations with different data-protection rules. Where required, Kanso will use appropriate measures for the services it selects.
09
Changes & contact
This policy may change as Kanso adds or removes services. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when meaningful changes are made.
